Sodium Sulfate（Na2SO4）is a common chemical raw material. Because it is the product of complete reaction of sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide, its chemical property is relatively stable. However, the purity of sodium sulfate extracted by this method is low and further purification is required. Since the price of sodium sulfate is far lower than that of sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide, it will not choose to specially use sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide to synthesize sodium sulfate. In chemical synthesis, sodium sulfate is usually used as a by-product to recover sulfate. For example, in lithium battery, man-made fiber and other industries, it can be used as a by-product.
Sodium sulfate has many uses in production, such as filling material for synthetic detergent. A cooking agent used in the paper industry to make kraft pulp. Glass industry is used to replace soda ash. The chemical industry is used as raw material for manufacturing sodium sulfide, sodium silicate and other chemical products. It is used in the textile industry to prepare vinylon spinning coagulation bath. Used as a laxative in the pharmaceutical industry. It is also used in nonferrous metallurgy and leather.
According to the current market price changes, if necessary, sodium sulfate and other raw materials are selected to replace the high price raw materials such as soda ash, which is conducive to reducing the production cost of the enterprise.
